Karnatak University is located in Dharwad District of Karnataka State. Karnatak University Dharwad is known as KUD. It was established in the year 1949 by the Bombay legislature of the erstwhile Bombay Presidency. The Karnatak University is located in the Pavatenagar area of Dharwad city. The University has constituents at the Gadag, Haveri, Uttar Kannada districts of Karnataka. The university offers various UG and PG courses. The courses include languages, Science, Arts, Tourism and Computer science and others. The University is one of the second oldest Universities in Karnataka. And the University has an ‘A’ grade Accreditation from the NAAC. And is one of the Top 100 Universities in India.
